Paul Blakemore FCA
Director
Paul celebrated his 25th anniversary of being with the firm in 2005. A graduate of Bristol University, Paul trained and qualified with KPMG in Birmingham and has been a partner/director of the practice since 1984.
Paul has many years experience working with the firms larger corporate clients, and oversees the firm’s audit and assurance services in particular.
James Nixon ACCA
General Manager
James is responsible for the day to day running of the firm. Having been with the firm since 1995, his current role has seen him develop many of the firm’s additional services that complement the compliance services offered by the practice.
James works closely with a portfolio of clients and assists them in all aspects of running their business, including strategic planning and other high level business consultancy. Included within this portfolio are a number of charity clients to which James provides compliance and advisory services.
Paul Rafton ACCA
Audit and Accounts Team Manager
Having been with the firm since 2000, Paul manages the team of staff within the audit and accounts department.
Paul has a portfolio mainly made up of corporate clients, several of which are subsidiaries of overseas groups with listed parent companies. Included within that portfolio are a number of owner managed businesses who Paul works closely with on a regular basis.
Ross Mee ACA
Audit and Accounts Manager
Having trained and qualified with KPMG, Ross joined the Leicester office of Godkin & Co in 1986, moving to Loughborough in 1998 following the consolidation of the offices.
Ross’ portfolio includes unincorporated businesses, professional practices and owner managed companies. Ross’ speciality lies within his large portfolio of members clubs, to whom he provides audit and accountancy services.
Michael Parker CTA
Tax Manager
Michael joined the firm in 2005, having specialised in taxation for over 20 years. Michael trained with Fraser Russell (now part of Baker Tilly) in Hertfordshire, qualifying as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1990.
He has gained a wealth of experience through working with a broad range of individuals, unincorporated businesses, professionals and companies over the years. One of the areas he is particularly experienced in is working closely with individual clients and providing practical capital gains tax and inheritance tax solutions for maintaining or passing on wealth.
